I was struck by this comment from a Nigerian, Herbert Sowemimo: He wrote
"Last week I shared a script written by a colonial officer in 1798 that stated amongst other things 'the corruption of black people in West Africa when left to their own devices'. That was 216 years ago... How many generations have passed and how many more do we need to change?"
