The photos of her plate and horrible find appeared on social networks and people shared them over 140 000 times.
She started eating it and was about half way through when she made this horrible discovery! A fried rat head...
She says by the time her daughter found out, part of the fried rat head was already in her mouth!
“My daughter is traumatized,” she says.
“I had to take her to urgent care last night, vomited with diarrhea all day.” In a later comment she said: “I know this will have an effect on her for a long time. Yesterday she ate nothing all day. All she kept seeing was the rat."
Renee Krapowski, the spokesperson for the restaurant, Popeyes, has however denied the claims. She says what they saw was likely an unusually-shaped chicken organ rather that a rat’s head, and that it would be sent for DNA testing.
